Getting There

• Walking

  Start from the center of Echternach, near the Basilica of Echternach. Head southeast on Rue de l'Église towards Rue du Marché. Continue straight for about 300 meters until you reach Place du Marché. From there, turn left onto Rue des Jardins and follow it until you reach the large park area. Walk through the park towards the east and continue onto Avenue de la Gare. After approximately 1 km, you will see signs directing you to the hiking trails. Follow the signs for the 'Côte de Mardasson' trail, which will lead you towards Liboriuskapelle. The chapel is located about 2 km from the park, nestled in the woods near the border with Germany.

• Biking

  If you have access to a bike, start from the center of Echternach near the Basilica. Head southeast on Rue de l'Église and then take a right onto Avenue de la Gare. Follow this road for about 1.5 km towards the edge of town. You will find the bike path that leads towards the eastern hills. Follow the designated bike trails, and after about 3 km, you will arrive at Liboriuskapelle, which is situated along the trail. Enjoy the scenic views along the way!

• Public Transport & Walking

  From Echternach, take a bus towards Ernzen. Check the local bus schedule for the latest routes and times. Once you arrive in Ernzen, disembark at the nearest bus stop. From there, walk southwest on Hauptstraße (Main Street) for about 500 meters. You will see signs indicating the direction to Liboriuskapelle. Continue walking for another 1 km, and you will find the chapel located in a beautiful wooded area.
