Getting There

  • Car

    If you're traveling by car from Mamer Valley, start by heading east on Route d'Arlon/D10 towards Luxembourg City. Follow the signs for Luxembourg City, and merge onto A6. After about 8 km, take exit 4 towards 'Centre Ville'. Continue straight until you reach the roundabout and take the second exit onto Boulevard F. D. Roosevelt. As you approach the city center, follow the signs to 'Grund' and park at one of the nearby parking facilities such as 'Parking Glacis'. From the parking, it's a short walk down to the Bock Casemates entrance.

  • Public Transportation

    For public transportation, take the bus from Mamer Valley to Luxembourg City. You can catch bus line 1 or 16 at the Mamer Valley bus stop. The journey takes approximately 30 minutes. Get off at the 'Luxembourg, Gare' stop. From there, transfer to tram line T1 towards 'Luxembourg, Pfaffenthal-Kirchberg' and get off at 'Luxembourg, Grund' stop. Follow the signs to Bock Casemates, which is a short walk from the tram stop. Note that a single ticket costs around €2, and is valid for 2 hours on all public transportation.
