If you're driving from central Minette, head towards the N1 road. Take the exit towards Luxembourg City and follow signs for the city center. Continue on Rue de Strasbourg, then turn onto Avenue de la Liberté. After a short distance, follow signs for Rives de Clausen. Fort Thüngen will be located on your left at Rives de Clausen, 1499 Clausen Lëtzebuerg. There is limited parking available nearby, so be prepared to park in nearby streets or designated parking areas. Note that parking may incur a fee.

Public Transportation
To reach Fort Thüngen by public transport, start at the nearest bus stop in Minette. Take bus line 9 or 10 heading towards 'Luxembourg, Gare' and alight at 'Luxembourg, Hamilius'. From there, transfer to tram line 1 towards 'Gare Centrale' and disembark at 'Rives de Clausen'. The fort is just a short walk from the tram stop. Make sure to check the local bus and tram schedules for the latest timings. A ticket for the bus and tram costs around €2.

If you're already in the vicinity of the city center, you can reach Fort Thüngen by walking. From the Place d'Armes, head southeast towards Rue du Marché-aux-Herbes, then continue onto Rue de la Boucherie. Follow the road as it curves right into Rue du Saint-Esprit and then left onto Rives de Clausen. The fort will be on your right. This walking route takes approximately 20 minutes and offers a chance to explore the charming streets of Luxembourg City.
