If you're traveling by car, start from the center of Oesling and head towards the N7 road. Follow the N7 until you reach the exit for the A7 motorway. Merge onto the A7 towards Luxembourg City. After approximately 30 minutes, take the exit for the N1 towards Luxembourg City. Continue on the N1 and then take the exit towards Rue des Trois-Glands. Follow the signs for ‘Clausen’ and continue on Rue des Trois-Glands until you reach Fort Obergrünewald, located at 9 Rue des Trois-Glands, 1629 Clausen, Luxembourg. Parking is available near the fort, but be aware of possible parking fees which may vary based on the time of day.

For public transportation, begin at the nearest bus stop in Oesling. You can take Bus Line 1 towards Luxembourg City. The journey takes about 45 minutes. Alight at the ‘Luxembourg, Gare Centrale’ stop. From there, transfer to Tram Line 1 in the direction of 'Luxembourg, Cloche d'Or'. Get off at the 'Luxembourg, Pescatore’ stop. From Pescatore, you can either walk for about 15 minutes or take Bus Line 22 towards 'Luxembourg, Clausen'. This bus will take you directly to the area near Fort Obergrünewald. The total cost for the bus and tram is approximately €2, but remember to check the latest ticket prices as they may change.
