Getting There

  • Car

    If you are driving from anywhere in Our Valley, head towards the A1 motorway. Follow the signs for Luxembourg City and take the exit for 'Centre Ville'. Once you are in the city, look for parking options near the old city area. A recommended parking facility is the 'Parking du Théâtre', which is centrally located and within walking distance to the City Train. Parking fees are approximately €2 per hour.

  • Public Transportation - Bus

    From any location in Our Valley, you can take a bus to Luxembourg City. Use the local bus services (check schedules on the CFL or AVL websites). Once you arrive at the Gare Centrale (Central Station), transfer to bus line 16 or 18, which will take you to 'Mnt de Clausen'. The City Train departs from the BUS STOP at Mnt de Clausen. A single bus ticket costs around €2, and the journey from the station to the bus stop takes about 20 minutes.

    If you are already in the old city area, you can easily reach the City Train by walking. From the main square 'Place d'Armes', head east towards the 'Bock Casemates'.
