Getting There

Bus
From Remich, head to the nearest bus stop, which is located near the main square in front of the church. Take the bus number 570 towards Diekirch. The bus ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Get off at the 'Vianden' bus stop. Once you arrive, head towards the main road and follow the signs to the castle. It's about a 15-minute walk uphill to reach Vianden Castle.

If you prefer to walk, start at the center of Remich. Head northwest on Rue de la Gare, then turn left onto Rue de la Liberté. Continue straight until you reach the edge of Remich. From there, follow the path along the river toward Vianden. This will take around 2 hours, but be prepared for a scenic route with some uphill sections as you approach the castle.

Bicycle
You can rent a bicycle in Remich and take the bike path along the river toward Vianden. Follow the signs for 'Velo Route', which will lead you along the Sûre River. The ride is approximately 12 kilometers and will take about 45 minutes. As you get closer to Vianden, you'll see signs directing you toward the castle. Please note that the final stretch involves some uphill riding.
