If you are driving to Fort Thüngen from anywhere within Upper Moselle Nature Park, start by heading towards the nearest main road, N10, which connects various towns in the region. Once you reach the N10, follow the signs towards Luxembourg City. After approximately 30 minutes, take the exit towards Rue de Hollerich. Continue on Rue de Hollerich until you reach the intersection with Boulevard F.D. Roosevelt. Turn left onto Boulevard F.D. Roosevelt, and follow it until you see signs for Clausen. Take a right onto FK5. Fort Thüngen will be on your left at FK5, 2616 Clausen Luxemburg. There is limited parking available nearby.

To reach Fort Thüngen using public transport, first make your way to the nearest bus station in your location within Upper Moselle Nature Park. Look for bus services headed towards Luxembourg City. Buses such as line 1 or line 16 are frequent and will take you to the central area of Luxembourg City. Once you arrive at the main bus station, take the tram towards 'Luxembourg, Gare'. Get off at the 'Luxembourg, F.D. Roosevelt' stop. From there, it’s a short 10-minute walk: head down Boulevard F.D. Roosevelt, then take a right onto FK5. Fort Thüngen will be on your left. Make sure to check the local bus and tram schedules for the most current timings.
