From the center of Wiltz, walk to the nearest bus stop, which is 'Wiltz, Gare' (the train station). Take the bus line 570 towards 'Vianden'. The journey will take approximately 30 minutes. Get off at the 'Vianden, Gare' bus stop. From there, walk uphill along 'Rue de la Gare' until you reach 'Mnt du Château'. The castle will be visible on the hilltop, and the walk will take about 15 minutes.

If you prefer to walk, start from the center of Wiltz and head towards 'Rue de la Gare'. Continue straight until you reach the 'Vianden' path, which leads you directly to the castle. This route is approximately 9 kilometers and will take around 2 hours to walk. Be prepared for an uphill trek as you approach the castle.

For those who are comfortable cycling, you can rent a bike in Wiltz. Start from the center of town and follow the signs towards 'Vianden'. The bike route is scenic and will take you through beautiful landscapes. The total distance is about 9 kilometers, and it should take around 30-45 minutes depending on your cycling speed. Once you arrive in Vianden, park your bike and walk to 'Mnt du Château'.
