Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are in the center of Andasibe, start by heading south on Avenue Ratovondrahona. Continue straight for about 1 kilometer until you reach the intersection with Route Nationale 2 (RN2). Cross the road carefully and continue walking straight ahead on the same road, which will lead you toward Andasibe Lemurs Lodge. Keep an eye out for the lodge's sign, which is located on your left after about 500 meters. The lodge is set back from the road, so you may need to walk a short distance down the driveway to reach the entrance.

    If you have access to a bicycle, start from the center of Andasibe and head south on Avenue Ratovondrahona. After approximately 1 kilometer, you will reach the intersection with Route Nationale 2 (RN2). Carefully cross the road and continue cycling straight. You will pass by a few local shops and restaurants. After about 500 meters, look for the sign for Andasibe Lemurs Lodge on your left. The lodge is a short ride down the driveway from the main road.

    Though you may not be traveling by car, you can take a local taxi-brousse (shared minibus) to reach Andasibe Lemurs Lodge. Head to the taxi-brousse station in Andasibe, usually located near the market area. Ask for a ride to Andasibe Lemurs Lodge. The fare is typically low, and the drivers are familiar with the lodge's location. Inform the driver that you need to stop at the lodge, and they will drop you off directly at the entrance. Be sure to confirm the drop-off point with the driver beforehand.
