Getting There

• Walking

  From the center of Antsirabe, head towards Avenue de la République. Walk straight until you reach the roundabout at the intersection with Rue de la Liberté. Take the second exit onto Rue de la Liberté and continue walking for about 1 km until you see the lakeside road. Follow this road towards the northeast, and you will eventually arrive at Lake Andraikiba, which is approximately 5 km from the center of Antsirabe.

• Bicycle

  Rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Antsirabe. Start from the central square and ride along Avenue de la République. Continue straight until you reach the roundabout, then take the second exit onto Rue de la Liberté. Cycle for about 1 km, then turn left onto the lakeside road. Follow this road for approximately 4 km until you reach Lake Andraikiba. The ride should take about 30-40 minutes depending on your pace.

• Public Transportation (Taxi-Brousse)

  Head to the main taxi-brousse station in Antsirabe, which is located near the center of town. Look for a taxi-brousse heading towards Lake Andraikiba or any direction that mentions 'Lac Andraikiba'. The fare is usually quite affordable. The journey may take around 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the nearest stop, you may need to walk a short distance to the lake itself.
