Start from the central area of Antsiranana, specifically at the main square (Place de la République). From the square, head east along Rue de La République. Follow this street as it curves to the right and becomes Avenue de l'Indépendance. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Avenue de l'Université. Turn left onto Avenue de l'Université and walk straight for about 1 kilometer. You will pass by several local shops and cafes along the way. Keep an eye out for locals who can guide you if needed. After approximately 15 minutes of walking, you will see a sign for Old Fort (Q994+XFP) on your left. Follow the pathway leading towards the fort.

If you prefer biking, rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in the city center. Begin your ride from Place de la République and head east along Rue de La République. As you continue, transition onto Avenue de l'Indépendance, maintaining a steady pace. In about 10 minutes, you will reach the intersection with Avenue de l'Université. Make a left turn onto Avenue de l'Université. Keep cycling straight for another 1 kilometer. Look for the entrance to Old Fort (Q994+XFP) on your left. Ensure to observe traffic rules and watch for pedestrians on the way.
