From your location in Antsiranana, you can take a taxi to Ampasipohy. Make sure to negotiate the fare before starting your journey. Inform the driver that you want to go to Lokobe Nature Special Reserve. The journey will take approximately 30-45 minutes, depending on traffic. The driver will drop you off at the entrance point, which is located at J86R+69M, Ampasipohy.

Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, rent a bicycle in Antsiranana and head towards the coast. Follow the Route Nationale 6 (RN6) south along the coast, enjoying the scenic views. After about 12 kilometers, you will see signs directing you to Ampasipohy. Continue on this route until you reach J86R+69M, where the entrance to Lokobe Nature Special Reserve is located.

For those who want an adventurous trek, you can walk from Antsiranana to Lokobe Nature Special Reserve. Start by heading south on Avenue de l'Indépendance, then take the main road leading towards Ampasipohy. It is roughly a 12-kilometer walk, so be prepared with water and snacks. Follow the signs pointing toward Lokobe Nature Special Reserve once you reach the area of Ampasipohy.
