Getting There

• Walking

  Start from the central market (Marché) in Antsiranana, located on Avenue de la République. Head north on Avenue de la République until you reach Rue de l'Indépendance. Turn right onto Rue de l'Indépendance and continue straight until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Avenue de l'Indépendance. Continue walking along this avenue for about 1 kilometer, passing local shops and eateries. Once you reach the intersection with Rue de la Liberté, turn left. Walk straight until you see signs for the hiking trail leading to Viewpoint French Mountain. Follow the trail signs, which will lead you uphill towards the viewpoint.

• Bicycle

  Rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Antsiranana. Start your journey from the main square, heading north on Avenue de la République. Continue until you reach the roundabout, where you will take the second exit onto Avenue de l'Indépendance. After about 1 kilometer, turn left onto Rue de la Liberté. Cycle along this road until you find signs indicating the trail to Viewpoint French Mountain. Park your bicycle at the designated area and begin your hike up the mountain.
