From the center of Fianarantsoa, head towards the Avenue de l'Indépendance. Walk south until you reach the intersection with Rue de la Réunion. Turn left onto Rue de la Réunion and continue walking. After about 1 km, you will reach the market area. Keep walking straight until you reach the main bus station (Gare Routière). From there, you can take a local 'taxi-brousse' heading towards Manolafaka. Inform the driver that you want to get off at the nearest stop to Tendrimbohitr'i sahalava. Once you get off, ask locals for directions to 'H3CJ+MW8' in Manolafaka, as it is a well-known hiking area.
Bicycle
Rent a bicycle from a local shop in Fianarantsoa. Start from the city center and head towards Avenue de l'Indépendance. Continue riding south, then turn left onto Rue de la Réunion. Follow this road for about 1 km until you reach the market area. Ride straight ahead towards the main bus station (Gare Routière). At the bus station, ask for a 'taxi-brousse' to Manolafaka. Once you reach Manolafaka, ask locals for the best route to H3CJ+MW8, where Tendrimbohitr'i sahalava is located.
