From the Mahajanga city center (place where most tourists gather), head east on Avenue de l'Indépendance. Continue straight for about 1 kilometer until you reach the intersection with Avenue de la République. Turn left onto Avenue de la République and walk for another 500 meters. You will see the Municipal Santatra Garden on your right, marked by a large sign and entrance.

If you prefer to cycle, rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in the city center. Start at Avenue de l'Indépendance and ride east for about 1 kilometer. At the intersection with Avenue de la République, turn left and continue riding for another 500 meters. Keep an eye out for the entrance to Municipal Santatra Garden on your right. It's a short ride, taking approximately 10-15 minutes depending on your speed.

To reach Municipal Santatra Garden by public transport, locate the nearest taxi-brousse station in Mahajanga. Board a taxi-brousse heading towards the Mahajanga Tanana area. Inform the driver that you are going to Municipal Santatra Garden. The ride should take about 10 minutes. Once you arrive at the drop-off point, walk a short distance east on Avenue de la République, and the garden will be on your right.
