Getting There

Walking

Start at the central market (Analakely Market) in Majunga. Exit the market and head southwest on Avenue de l'Independence. Walk for about 1 kilometer until you reach the intersection with Boulevard de l'Independence. Turn left onto Boulevard de l'Independence and continue straight for approximately 500 meters until you reach the 'Lac Ankarafantsika' sign. At this point, turn right onto Unnamed Road, which will lead you directly towards ParcNB@SIB Mahajanga. Follow this road for about 1.5 kilometers; you will see signs leading you to the park entrance.
Bicycle

If you have access to a bicycle, start at the central market in Majunga. Head southwest on Avenue de l'Independence. After about 1 kilometer, turn left onto Boulevard de l'Independence. Continue on this road for about 500 meters, then turn right when you see the sign for 'Lac Ankarafantsika'. Follow Unnamed Road for about 1.5 kilometers, and you will arrive at ParcNB@SIB Mahajanga. The ride should take approximately 15-20 minutes depending on your cycling speed.
Public Transport (Taxi-Brousse)

From the central bus station in Majunga, look for a taxi-brousse heading towards Antanambao. Board the taxi-brousse and inform the driver that you wish to get off at the 'Lac Ankarafantsika' stop. The fare should be reasonable, and the ride will take about 20-30 minutes.
