Walking
From your accommodation in Mandrare River, begin your journey by heading southeast towards the main path leading out of the village. Follow this path for about 1 kilometer until you reach a fork. At the fork, take the left path that leads towards the Taolagnaro direction. Continue walking for approximately 3 kilometers, passing by local farms and lush landscapes. As you approach Taolagnaro, keep an eye out for signs directing you towards ANDRANARA RESERVE. The last leg will involve walking about 500 meters off the main trail towards the coordinates XWGR+2CR, where the reserve is located. The surrounding area will be marked with signs indicating the entrance to the reserve.

Bicycle
If you have access to a bicycle, start from Mandrare River and cycle southeast on the main road leading out of the village. After about 1 kilometer, look for a left turn towards Taolagnaro. This road will be more suitable for cycling and will take you through scenic views and rural landscapes. Continue straight for about 3 kilometers until you reach the outskirts of Taolagnaro. Upon nearing Taolagnaro, you will see signs directing toward ANDRANARA RESERVE. Cycle approximately 500 meters off the main road to the coordinates XWGR+2CR, where the entrance to the reserve is clearly marked.
