    To reach Makira Natural Park from Masoala National Park by car, you will need to drive south on Route Nationale 5 for approximately 5 hours. Along the way, you will pass through several towns and villages, including Maroantsetra. After passing through Maroantsetra, continue south until you reach the entrance of Makira Natural Park.

    If you prefer to use public transportation, you can take a taxi-brousse (shared minivan) from Masoala National Park to Maroantsetra. From Maroantsetra, you can then take another taxi-brousse or hire a local guide with a 4x4 vehicle to take you to Makira Natural Park.
