From the center of Toliara, head southeast towards Avenue de l'Indépendance. Continue straight until you reach the junction with Avenue de la République. Turn left onto Avenue de la République and walk until you reach the bus station (Gare Routière).

At the bus station, you can hire a bicycle or a motorcycle taxi (locally known as 'pousse-pousse'). Ask the driver to take you to Anketa, where the Spiny Forest is located. The ride should take around 15-20 minutes depending on traffic.
