Start at the Brunswick Visitor Center located at 16 Station Ave, Brunswick, ME 04011. Walk south on Station Ave toward Maine St. Turn left onto Maine St and continue walking for about 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with Pleasant St. Continue straight onto Pleasant St. After about 0.3 miles, turn right onto Federal St. Walk for a short distance until you reach the Maine State Ferry Terminal. From the terminal, take a ferry to Portland, which will take approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Portland, head toward the Old Port area and follow the waterfront path to Fort Gorges, located on an island in Casco Bay. You can access Fort Gorges via kayak or charter boat services available at the waterfront.

From the Brunswick Amtrak Station, take the Downeaster train heading towards Portland. The train ride will take approximately 30 minutes.
