Walking
Start your journey from the center of Brunswick, at the intersection of Maine Street and Pleasant Street. Head north on Pleasant Street until you reach the traffic lights at the intersection with Route 1. Cross over to the other side and continue walking straight for about 0.5 miles. You will come to a sign for Route 1 North. Here, you will see a bus stop that serves the local transit. Catch the bus to Naples, which is a common stop for visitors heading to Sebago Lake. The bus ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Get off at the Sebago Lake State Park stop. From there, follow the walking paths that lead down to the lake.
Biking
If you prefer biking, rent a bike from one of the local bike rental shops in downtown Brunswick. Start at the intersection of Maine Street and Pleasant Street, then head north on Pleasant Street. Continue until you reach the Route 1 intersection. Turn left onto Route 1 North and follow the bike lane. After about 3 miles, you will see signs for Sebago Lake State Park. The bike ride will take around 25-30 minutes. Once you arrive, park your bike at the designated bike rack near the park entrance and enjoy the scenic views of Sebago Lake.
Public Transit
Begin your trip at the Maine Street bus stop near the Bowdoin College campus. Board the bus heading towards Naples. Make sure to check the bus schedule online or at the stop for the exact times. The bus ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the Sebago Lake State Park stop, disembark and follow the signage to the park entrance to reach the lake.
