If you are in downtown Camden, start at the Camden Public Library located at 55 Main St. Head north on Main St towards Mechanic St. After a short walk, take a right onto Mechanic St and continue until you reach the intersection with Washington St. Turn left onto Washington St and walk until you reach the intersection with Route 1. At Route 1, continue to the north side of Camden. Look for signs that direct you to the Camden Hills State Park. The trails to Mount Megunticook will be accessible from the park entrance, which is located a bit further up on the right side. The total walking distance is approximately 2 miles, and it should take around 40-50 minutes.

If you have a bike, you can rent one from a local shop in Camden. Start at the Camden Harbor Park and ride north on the Camden Riverwalk. Continue along the scenic route until you reach the junction with Route 1. At this point, you can follow Route 1 north towards Camden Hills State Park.
