Start from the Camden Harbor Park, located at the heart of Camden. Head north on Main Street for about 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with Route 1. Turn left onto Route 1 and continue walking for about 1 mile. You will pass the Camden Public Library and several shops along the way. Once you reach the intersection with the road leading to Lincolnville, you will want to continue on Route 1 for approximately another half mile. Look for the sign for Fernald's Neck Preserve, which will be on your right. Follow the signs to the entrance, which is just a short walk down the road.

Begin your biking journey at Camden Harbor Park. From there, ride north on Main Street. After 0.5 miles, turn left onto Route 1. Continue for about 1 mile, passing various shops and the Camden Public Library. Keep an eye out for the sign for Lincolnville; after another half mile on Route 1, you will see the sign for Fernald's Neck Preserve on your right. The entrance is just a short distance down the road, and you'll find bike parking available nearby.

While there is no direct public transportation to Fernald's Neck Preserve, you can take the local bus service from Camden to Lincolnville. Start at the Camden Public Library bus stop, and take the bus heading towards Lincolnville. Once you reach Lincolnville, you will need to walk approximately 1 mile back along Route 1 to reach the entrance to Fernald's Neck Preserve, which will be on your left. Be sure to check the bus schedule for the return trip.
