Car
From the town of Millinocket, head south on I-95 S. After approximately 20 miles, take exit 244 toward ME-11 N. Continue on ME-11 N for about 20 miles, then turn left onto Lily Bay Rd. Follow Lily Bay Rd for about 7 miles until you reach the entrance of Lily Bay State Park at 425 Lily Bay Rd, Beaver Cove, ME 04441. There is a parking fee of $4 for Maine residents and $8 for non-residents, payable at the entrance.

Public Transportation
There is limited public transportation in the Katahdin Region. Tourists can use a combination of Greyhound or Concord Coach Lines to reach Millinocket. From Millinocket, you will need to arrange a taxi service or rideshare to Lily Bay State Park, as there are no direct bus services. Expect to pay around $30-$50 for a taxi ride from Millinocket to the park.

For the adventurous traveler, cycling from Millinocket to Lily Bay State Park is an option. Take ME-11 N for about 20 miles, then turn left onto Lily Bay Rd.
