Getting There

• Walking

  From the center of Kennebunkport, head south on Maine Street towards the Kennebunk River. Continue walking until you reach the bridge. Cross the bridge and follow the path along the river, which will lead you to Route 9. Once you reach Route 9, turn left and continue walking for about a mile until you reach the junction with Route 35. Here, you will take a right onto Route 35 and follow it to the town of Biddeford. From there, you can take a public bus or continue walking towards Portland. The Arts District is located on Congress Street in Portland.

• Bicycle

  Rent a bicycle from one of the local rental shops in Kennebunkport. Start from the downtown area and head towards the Kennebunk River. Follow the bike path along the river until you connect with Route 9. Cycle along Route 9 heading towards Biddeford. Once in Biddeford, follow signs to Portland's Arts District, which is approximately 10 miles from Kennebunkport. Use bike lanes whenever available for safety.

• Public Transportation

  From Kennebunkport, head to the nearest bus stop located on Route 9. Take the local bus service that heads towards Portland. The bus will take you through Biddeford and into Portland. Once you arrive in Portland, disembark at the downtown area. From there, walk towards Congress Street, which is approximately a 10-minute walk from the bus drop-off point. Follow the signs or ask locals for directions to the Arts District.
