Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Western Avenue. Turn left onto Western Avenue. Walk along Western Avenue, following the signs towards Goosefare Bay. As you approach the Batson River, you will find a small trailhead that leads into the Goosefare Bay Wildlife Refuge. The refuge is located near the river, and you can explore it further once you arrive.

Begin your journey at the Kennebunkport Bicycle Shop located near Dock Square. Rent a bike if you don’t have one. Head out of Dock Square and make your way to Ocean Avenue. Follow Ocean Avenue south until you reach Western Avenue. Turn left on Western Avenue and continue along the road until you see signs for Goosefare Bay. There are bike paths along this route that will lead you directly to the entrance of the refuge near Batson River.
