From the center of Kennebunkport, head south on Main Street towards the intersection with Ocean Avenue. Continue straight until you reach the Kennebunk River. Cross the bridge and continue walking straight on Route 9. After about 1 mile, you will enter the town of Kennebunk. Follow the signs to Route 1 North towards Portland. Continue on Route 1 for about 16 miles until you reach Congress Street in Portland. Monument Square will be on your left at 456 Congress St, Portland, ME 04101.

From Kennebunkport, walk to the nearest bus stop located on Route 9. Take the York County Community Action Corporation (YCCAC) bus towards Portland. This will take approximately 30-40 minutes depending on the schedule. Get off at the Portland Transportation Center. From there, it’s a 10-minute walk: head northeast on Franklin Arterial, then turn left onto Congress Street. Monument Square will be on your left at 456 Congress St, Portland, ME 04101.
