If you are starting from the center of Augusta, head towards the North on State Street. Continue walking until you reach the intersection with Water Street. Turn left onto Water Street and follow it until you reach the bridge. Cross the bridge over the Kennebec River. After crossing, continue straight onto Route 1 South. Stay on Route 1 South for about 10 miles, passing through several small towns. When you reach Edgecomb, look for Fort Road on your right. Turn onto Fort Road, and you will find Fort Edgecomb at 66 Fort Rd on your left.
