If you're staying in Ogunquit, start by heading towards the Ogunquit Village area. From there, walk towards Shore Road and follow it north until you reach Route 1. Turn left onto Route 1 and continue walking until you reach the Ogunquit Amtrak Station. From the station, you can catch a train to Portsmouth. Once you arrive at the Portsmouth Station, exit the station and walk east along the road until you reach Market Street. Turn left on Market Street, and you will find the Moffatt-Ladd House & Garden at 154 Market St.
Bicycle
For a more adventurous route, rent a bicycle in Ogunquit. Start your ride from the Ogunquit Beach area and head north along Shore Road. Take in the beautiful coastal views as you cycle towards Route 1. Once you reach Route 1, turn left and continue cycling until you reach the Ogunquit Amtrak Station. After arriving at the Portsmouth Station, continue east towards Market Street. Turn left on Market Street and pedal a short distance to reach the Moffatt-Ladd House & Garden.
Public Transit
To get to the Moffatt-Ladd House & Garden using public transportation, first, make your way to the Ogunquit Amtrak Station. You can take a local bus or walk to the station. Once at the station, board a train heading towards Portsmouth. Upon arriving at Portsmouth Station, you will need to take a local bus towards downtown Portsmouth.
