Getting There

Public Bus
From Ogunquit, head to the nearest public bus stop, which is located on Route 1 (Main Street). Look for the 'Coast Bus' service that operates in this area. Board the bus heading toward Portsmouth. Stay on the bus for approximately 30 minutes until you reach the North Hampton stop. Once you get off the bus, you will be about a 10-minute walk from North Hampton State Beach. Head east on Ocean Boulevard, and you will see the beach entrance on your right.

If you prefer cycling, rent a bike from one of the local shops in Ogunquit. Start your ride by heading north on Route 1. After about 1.5 miles, turn right onto Ocean Boulevard. Continue on Ocean Boulevard for approximately 2 miles, and you will arrive at North Hampton State Beach. There are bike racks available near the beach entrance.

For those who enjoy walking, you can walk along Route 1. Start at the center of Ogunquit and head north on Main Street until you reach Route 1. From there, turn left and continue walking for about 2 miles. You will need to cross the road to reach Ocean Boulevard, where you can walk east for another mile until you reach North Hampton State Beach. Please be cautious of traffic as you walk along the roadside.
