Getting There

• Walking

  If you are staying in Ogunquit, start by heading towards the Ogunquit Beach area. Walk along Beach Street until you reach the intersection with Route 1 (also known as Main Street). At this intersection, turn left onto Route 1 North. Continue walking on Route 1 for about 1.5 miles until you reach the town of York. Once in York, look for signage directing you towards York Harbor. Continue on Route 1 until you see signs for York Harbor, then turn onto Barrell Lane. Follow Barrell Lane until you reach the Wiggly Bridge at 57 Barrell Ln Ext. The bridge is situated near the water and offers beautiful views.

  If you have rented a bicycle, start from the Ogunquit Village area and head towards Route 1. Take a right onto Route 1 North and follow the same path as if you were walking. Bicycling along Route 1 is straightforward, but be mindful of traffic. As you approach York, watch for signs for York Harbor. Turn onto Barrell Lane, and continue until you reach the Wiggly Bridge. The ride should take approximately 15-20 minutes, depending on your pace.

• Public Transportation

  To get to Wiggly Bridge using public transportation, you can take the York County Community Action bus (YCCAC). Look for a stop near your accommodation in Ogunquit, and board the bus heading toward York. Inform the driver that you would like to get off at the stop for York Harbor. Once you disembark, walk towards Barrell Lane and follow it until you arrive at Wiggly Bridge, which is a short walk from the bus stop. Make sure to check the bus schedule in advance for accurate timings.
