    From downtown Rockland, head to the nearest bus stop located at the intersection of Main St and Mechanic St. Catch the Knox County Transit bus that runs to Camden. The bus typically departs every hour, and the journey takes approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Camden, get off at the Camden Town Office stop. From there, walk north on Main St for about 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with Belfast Rd. Turn left onto Belfast Rd, and Camden Hills State Park will be on your right side after about a 10-minute walk.

    If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike from one of the local shops in downtown Rockland. Head north on Main St until you reach the intersection with Mechanic St, then turn left onto Mechanic St. Continue until you reach the end of Mechanic St, which will merge into the Coastal Route (Route 1). Follow Route 1 north for approximately 5 miles, and you will see signs for Camden Hills State Park. The entrance will be on your left, and there is a bike rack available for parking.

    For those feeling adventurous and up for a longer walk, you can walk from downtown Rockland to Camden Hills State Park. Start by heading north along Main St towards the harbor. Continue straight for about 1 mile until you reach the end of Main St and merge onto Route 1 North. Follow Route 1 for approximately 5 miles, enjoying the scenic views along the way. The entrance to Camden Hills State Park will be on your left. It's a beautiful walk and will take around 2 hours.
