    If you're starting from Saco's downtown area, head towards Main Street. Walk straight on Main Street until you reach the intersection with Route 1. Cross Route 1 and continue straight into Biddeford. Follow the sidewalk along Alfred Street to the Biddeford-Saco Bridge. Once you cross the bridge, continue straight on Main Street into Portland. After you enter Portland, take a left onto Pleasant Street. The John Ford Statue will be located at 4 Pleasant St on your left.

    Public Transportation

    From the Saco Transportation Center, take the Amtrak Downeaster train heading towards Portland. The trip will take about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the Portland Transportation Center, exit and head to the bus stop for the #1 bus (Maine Mall to Peaks Island). Board the bus and ride until the stop at Congress Street. From there, walk straight to Pleasant Street and turn left. The John Ford Statue is located at 4 Pleasant St.
