Car
From Sugarloaf Mountain, head north on Route 27 towards the town of Kingfield. Continue on Route 27 for approximately 25 miles until you reach the junction with Route 201 in the town of Bingham. Turn left onto Route 201 and drive north for about 19 miles until you reach the town of Jackman. In Jackman, follow the signs for Unnamed Road. You'll need to drive on Unnamed Road, which is a gravel road. The Coburn Mountain Trailhead is located approximately 4 miles down this road. There is no specific address for the trailhead, but keep an eye out for trail signs along the road. Be cautious of road conditions, particularly in inclement weather, as some sections may be rough.
Public Transportation
If you're using public transportation, first take a bus from Sugarloaf Mountain to the town of Kingfield. From Kingfield, you will need to transfer to a regional bus line that services Bingham. Once in Bingham, you can take a taxi or rideshare service to Jackman, as public transport options may be limited. In Jackman, you will need to secure a taxi or rideshare to take you to Unnamed Road. Please note that public transport options may vary and it’s advisable to check the schedules in advance. Additionally, expect to pay for taxi services, which may cost between $50 to $100 depending on distance and availability.
