From the Sugarloaf Mountain area, head southeast on Route 27. Continue for about 12 miles until you reach the town of Newry. In Newry, turn left onto Sunday River Road. Drive approximately 1.5 miles along Sunday River Road, keeping an eye out for the marked parking area on your right. Once you park, follow the short trail that leads to Frenchman’s Hole.

From Carrabassett Valley, you will need to take a taxi or rideshare service to Newry. Once in Newry, use the same directions as above by heading to Sunday River Road.
