Car
From Sugarloaf Mountain, start by heading south on Route 27 towards Carrabassett Valley. Continue on Route 27 for approximately 20 miles until you reach the intersection with Route 201 in The Forks. Turn right onto Route 201 North and proceed for about 8 miles. Look for the sign for Moxie Falls on your right at Unnamed Road. Turn onto Unnamed Road and follow it for about 1 mile until you reach the parking area for Moxie Falls.
Public Transportation
While there are limited public transportation options in the area, you can take a bus service from Sugarloaf Mountain to The Forks. Once at The Forks, you will need to arrange for a taxi or rideshare service to take you to Moxie Falls. The taxi ride will take approximately 15 minutes and cost around $20-$30. After reaching the parking area, you can walk to the falls, which is a short hike from the parking lot.
Walking
If you are already at the parking area near Moxie Falls, the hike to the falls is approximately 0.5 miles along a well-marked trail. The trail descends slightly and may be rocky, so wear appropriate footwear. The walk should take about 15-20 minutes. Once you reach the falls, enjoy the stunning views and take some photographs!
