From anywhere in Washington County, head west on US-1 S towards Portland. This route offers a scenic drive along the coast. Continue on US-1 S for approximately 90 miles until you reach the junction with I-295. Merge onto I-295 S towards Portland. After about 5 miles, take exit 7 for Fore River Parkway. Continue on Fore River Parkway, then merge onto Congress St. The Portland Observatory will be on your right at 138 Congress St, Portland, ME 04101.
