It’s a straight route with less traffic compared to other areas. After about 1.5 kilometers, turn left at the junction onto the smaller road. You can park your bicycle at the entrance of Karonga Freedom Park.

Catch a local minibus (matola) from either the main market area or any designated minibus stop in Karonga. Inform the driver that you want to go to the area near the Karonga District Hospital. Once you arrive, it’s about a 10-minute walk north on the M1 Highway. When you reach the junction, turn left onto the smaller road that leads you directly to Karonga Freedom Park.
