If you're traveling by car, start from the nearest major town, which is Mangochi. From Mangochi, take the M5 highway heading north towards Monkey Bay. Continue on the M5 for approximately 30 kilometers until you reach the turn-off for Leopard Bay, which is well-marked. Turn left at the signpost and follow the dirt road for about 5 kilometers until you reach Leopard Bay. The road may be bumpy, so drive carefully.

If you prefer public transportation, catch a minibus from Mangochi to Monkey Bay. The minibuses depart regularly from the main bus station in Mangochi. The fare is usually around 500 MWK (Malawian Kwacha). Once you arrive at Monkey Bay, you can hire a local taxi or a motorbike taxi (commonly known as 'Kabakulu') to take you to Leopard Bay for approximately 2000 MWK. Make sure to negotiate the price before starting your journey.
