Walking
If you are starting from the Lilongwe City Mall, exit the mall and head southeast towards Kamuzu Procession Road. Continue walking straight until you reach the intersection with the Bingu National Stadium on your left. From there, follow the road signs directing you to the Capital Hill area. Continue straight for about 1 km until you see the World War I Memorial on your right, located at the address 3Q3M+HWC, Lilongwe.
Walking
If you are near the Lilongwe Central Market, exit the market and head southwest towards the junction with Kenyatta Road. Take a left onto Kenyatta Road and walk straight for about 1.5 km. You will pass several shops and cafes along the way. Continue until you reach the intersection with Capital Hill Road. Turn right and walk for another 500 meters; the World War I Memorial will be on your left, marked by a distinct memorial park.
Bicycle
If you have access to a bicycle, you can start from the Old Town area. Cycle north along Banda Road until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Kamuzu Procession Road. Continue cycling straight for about 2 km, then take a left onto Capital Hill Road. The World War I Memorial will be on your right after about 500 meters.
Public Transport (Minibus)
From the Lilongwe Bus Station, you can take a minibus heading towards the City Center. Inform the conductor that you want to get off at the Capital Hill area. Once you arrive, walk down Capital Hill Road for about 10 minutes, and you will see the World War I Memorial on your left at 3Q3M+HWC, Lilongwe.
