If you are starting from the Lilongwe City Centre, head towards the east on Kamuzu Procession Road. Continue walking straight for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Capital Hill Road. Walk along Capital Hill Road for approximately 600 meters, and you will see the Kamuzu Mausoleum on your left. The mausoleum is located at the address 2QWQ+4MQ, Capital Hill.
Bicycle
Starting from the Lilongwe City Centre, you can rent a bicycle from one of the local bike rental shops. Head east on Kamuzu Procession Road, cycling straight for about 1.5 kilometers until you arrive at a roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Capital Hill Road. Continue cycling on Capital Hill Road for about 600 meters. The Kamuzu Mausoleum will be on your left side, at the address 2QWQ+4MQ, Capital Hill.
Public Transport (Matola)
From the Lilongwe City Centre, find a matola (shared minibus) heading towards Capital Hill. Board the matola and inform the driver you are going to Kamuzu Mausoleum. The ride should take around 10-15 minutes, depending on traffic. Ask the driver to drop you off at the nearest stop to the mausoleum. Once you get off, walk about 200 meters along Capital Hill Road, and you will find the mausoleum on your left at 2QWQ+4MQ.
