Getting There

• Walking

  From the center of Mangochi, head east on the main road (M5). Walk approximately 1.5 kilometers until you reach the junction at Chembe. Turn left at the junction onto the road leading towards Chembe. Continue walking for about 2 kilometers. You will pass local shops and houses along the way. Keep an eye out for signs directing you towards Chembe View. As you approach the area, look for the distinctive markers or landmarks that indicate you are near the Chembe View location.

• Bicycle

  If you have access to a bicycle, start from the central area of Mangochi and ride east on the M5 road for about 1.5 kilometers. At the Chembe junction, turn left and continue cycling for another 2 kilometers. The ride should take you through scenic parts of the region, and you can enjoy the view of the local landscape. Upon nearing Chembe, watch for signs indicating Chembe View, which is well-marked.

• Public Transport (Minibus)

  To reach Chembe View via public transport, locate the minibus station in Mangochi. Board a minibus heading towards Chembe. The fare is usually affordable, and the ride takes about 30 minutes, depending on traffic. Inform the driver that you are heading to Chembe View, and they will drop you off at the appropriate stop. Once you disembark, it’s a short walk (approximately 10 minutes) to Chembe View, following the road signs or asking locals for directions.
