After approximately 10 kilometers, turn left onto the road leading to the Mulanje Mountain Forest Reserve. Continue on this road for about 5 kilometers until you reach the entrance of the reserve. There is usually a small fee for entrance, so be prepared for that. Once inside the reserve, follow the signs for Kara O'mula by Serendib. The hotel is located about 2 kilometers from the main entrance, nestled on the side of the mountain.

For those using public transportation, you can take a minibus from Mulanje town to the Mulanje Mountain Forest Reserve. The minibuses are available at the main bus station in Mulanje. The fare is quite affordable, usually around 500 MWK (Malawian Kwacha).
