From the center of Salima, start at the Salima Market. Head east on the main road (M5) towards the lake. Continue straight for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the junction near the Salima Police Station. Turn left onto the road leading to the Malary Islands area. Follow this road for approximately 3 kilometers, keeping the lake on your right. You will pass several local shops and restaurants along the way. As you approach the Malary Islands, look for signs indicating Silver Sands Holiday Resort. The resort will be located on your left, near the beach area.

If you prefer cycling, rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Salima. Begin your journey from the Salima Market and head east on the M5. After about 1.5 kilometers, turn left at the Salima Police Station onto the road towards Malary Islands. Maintain a steady pace and enjoy the scenic views of Lake Malawi on your right as you cycle for around 3 kilometers. Look out for the signs directing you to Silver Sands Holiday Resort on your left as you approach the beach.
