Walking

From the center of Zomba, walk towards the Zomba Market. Once you reach the market, continue straight on the main road until you hit the junction with the road leading to Zomba Mountain. Turn left at this junction, following the signs for Zomba Mountain. Continue walking for about 4 kilometers. You will pass small shops and local residences. As you approach the mountain, look for signs directing you towards Sunbird Ku Chawe. The hotel is located at the top of the mountain, offering breathtaking views.

Bicycle

Rent a bicycle from any of the local rental shops in Zomba. Start your journey from the main square, pedaling towards Zomba Market. After passing the market, continue on the main road and turn left at the junction that leads to Zomba Mountain. The ride is approximately 4 kilometers uphill. Be mindful of the steep sections as you approach the hotel. Look for signage indicating Sunbird Ku Chawe as you ascend.

Public Transport

From Zomba, head to the local minibus station. Look for a shared minibus heading towards Zomba Mountain or the surrounding areas. Inform the conductor that you wish to go to Sunbird Ku Chawe. The minibus will drop you off at the closest point to the hotel, which is around 4 kilometers from the center of Zomba.
