Getting There

Walking
From the center of Zomba, head towards the Zomba Central Market, which is located on Mzuzu Street. Once you reach the market, find the main road that leads out of the town towards the Zomba Plateau. Continue walking along this road, which is named 'Chikanda Road'. Follow the road as it begins to ascend towards the massif. It will take you through some local neighborhoods, so be sure to enjoy the scenery and local life. After about 30-40 minutes of walking, you'll reach the entrance to Zomba Massif National Park.

If you prefer to cycle, you can rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Zomba. Start your journey from the town center and head towards Zomba Central Market. From there, take Mzuzu Street, which leads to Chikanda Road. Follow Chikanda Road, which will take you uphill towards Zomba Massif.
