Genting Roof Top Lookout Point: A Panoramic Paradise in the Highlands

Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving, head towards the main access road leading into Genting Highlands. Once you arrive at the main entrance, follow the signs to the Awana Skyway Station. Park your car at the designated parking area, which typically incurs a fee of around RM 3-5 per hour. After parking, take the Awana Skyway gondola lift to the top station, which is located near the resort area. From the top station, follow the signs to the Genting Roof Top Lookout Point, which is approximately a 10-minute walk.

• Public Transportation - Bus

  If you prefer to use public transport, take a bus from Kuala Lumpur to Genting Highlands. Buses leave regularly from various terminals such as Pudu Sentral or Terminal Bersepadu Selatan (TBS) and the fare is usually around RM 35-45 one-way. Once you arrive at the Awana Bus Terminal in Genting Highlands, you can either walk to the Awana Skyway Station or take the free shuttle service offered by the resort. After reaching the Awana Skyway Station, take the gondola lift to the top station and follow the signs to the Genting Roof Top Lookout Point, which is about a 10-minute walk.

• Taxi/Grab

  For a more convenient option, you can use a taxi or Grab (a ride-hailing app) to reach Genting Highlands. Simply input 'Genting Roof Top Lookout Point' as your destination. The fare will vary depending on your starting point but expect to pay around RM 70-100 from Kuala Lumpur. Upon arrival, you can ask the driver to drop you off near the Awana Skyway Station, from where you can take the gondola lift to the top and walk to the lookout point.
