From Genting Highlands, take the exit towards Kuala Lumpur via the E1 highway. Follow the signs for Kuala Lumpur, which will lead you down the winding roads. Once you reach the toll booths, pay the toll fee (approximately RM 3.50) to proceed. Continue on the E1 highway for about 45 minutes. As you approach Kuala Lumpur, keep an eye out for Jalan Sultan Hishamuddin. The National Textiles Museum is located at 26, Jalan Sultan Hishamuddin, City Centre, 50000 Kuala Lumpur. Look for parking options nearby; public parking is available but may incur additional fees.

Public Transportation - Bus
From Genting Highlands, take the bus service available at the Awana Bus Terminal. Purchase a ticket to Kuala Lumpur, which typically costs around RM 35. The bus ride takes approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the Pudu Sentral Bus Station in Kuala Lumpur, you can either walk or take a short taxi ride to the National Textiles Museum located at 26, Jalan Sultan Hishamuddin. The taxi fare should be around RM 10.

Public Transportation - Cable Car and MRT
Begin at the Awana Skyway cable car station in Genting Highlands. Take the cable car down to Awana Station. From there, board the bus to the nearest MRT station (KTM Terminal), which is about a 5-minute ride. Purchase a ticket for the MRT train heading to Kuala Lumpur. Get off at Kuala Lumpur Sentral Station. From there, take a taxi to the National Textiles Museum at 26, Jalan Sultan Hishamuddin. The taxi ride will cost about RM 15.
