    From George Town, head to the nearest bus stop. The most convenient stop for tourists is 'Komtar Bus Terminal' located at Jalan Penang. Take the Rapid Penang Bus No. 204 or 201 heading towards Air Itam. The bus ride will take approximately 30 to 40 minutes. Alight the bus at the 'Air Itam' stop. From there, you will see signs directing you to the Penang Hill funicular train station.
