Walking
If you are starting from Georgetown's popular area, Komtar, walk down Jalan Penang towards Jalan Campbell. Continue straight until you reach the intersection at Jalan Armenian. Take a right onto Jalan Armenian. Yap Kongsi will be on your right, just a few minutes walk from the intersection.
Public Bus
From your location, head to the nearest bus stop and catch the Rapid Penang bus number 101 or 102. Ask the bus driver to drop you off at the 'Lebuh Armenian' stop. From there, walk back along the road for a minute, and Yap Kongsi will be on your left.
Trishaw Ride
Find a trishaw (a three-wheeled bicycle taxi) nearby, and tell the driver you want to go to Yap Kongsi on Lebuh Armenian. The ride will take about 10 minutes depending on traffic. Enjoy the sights of George Town as you travel!
Bicycle Rental
If you prefer cycling, rent a bicycle from one of the local rental shops. Head towards Jalan Campbell, then take a right onto Jalan Armenian. Yap Kongsi is about a 10-minute ride from that point. There are bike lanes, so it’s safe to cycle!
