Start at the Komtar building, which is a central landmark in George Town. From Komtar, head southwest on Jalan Penang towards Lebuh Chulia. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Lebuh Armenian. Turn left onto Lebuh Armenian, and Yap Kongsi will be on your right, just a short walk away.

If you are starting from the Penang Peranakan Mansion, exit the mansion and turn left onto Lebuh Gereja. Walk straight and cross over to Lebuh Armenian. Continue walking straight along Lebuh Armenian for about 500 meters, and you will arrive at Yap Kongsi on your left.

From the popular tourist destination, the Blue Mansion (Cheong Fatt Tze Mansion), exit the mansion and head north towards Lebuh Sungai Ujong. Turn right onto Lebuh Armenian and walk straight for about 300 meters. Yap Kongsi will be on your left side, just after the junction with Jalan Ah Quee.
